We drove for 4 hours from Vancouver to the Okanagan. I was the one driving for the first two hours and Jasper took over afterwards. Phew! As soon as we arrived in Osoyoos, we went straight to the hotel, checked-in and ate lunch.
To save you some time reading, here’s basically how our first day went: Hotel. Lake. Swim. Went around Osoyoos. Shop. Lake. Dinner. Sleep.
We woke up really early to get ready for our trip to Kelowna. From Osoyoos, we needed to drive 45 minutes to Kelowna, which is not bad at all!
When you arrive in Kelowna, I do recommend you to rent a bike to go around Downtown. We rented our bikes from Fresh Air rentals and paid $20 each for a 2-hour rental. Two hours is definitely enough to go around Downtown Kelowna.
Jasper wanted to try go-karting before we went home, so when I saw one on the way to Vancouver, he was go giddy about it. Westside Go Karts is kind of hidden, so make sure you follow the signs. Go-karting was the highlight of our trip, for sure! The owner and staff are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. So if you’re in Kelowna, make sure you stop by here. =)
